About James Smith:

James Smith serves on the Board of Directors for Central Station Marketing. As the owner of Dalworth Clean, he is one of the founders of Dallas - Fort Worth based Dalworth Restoration, Dalworth Clean and Dalworth Rug Cleaning. The businesses are household names in the DFW Metroplex.

Through the years, James’ hard work and ability to lead by example has made a major impact on his teams and boosted the Dalworth brands. They have earned numerous industry accolades and awards, as well as respect from competitors and customers alike. He carries that level of respect and professionalism over to his duties at CSM.

James started Dalworth Carpet Cleaning in 1976 out of the back of an Oldsmobile Cutlass. His brother-in-law, Shane Hobbs, founded Dalworth Restoration.

They started out scheduling and confirming appointments each morning, cleaning carpets all day and then calling customers in the evening to make sure the jobs were done in a satisfactory fashion. That grueling schedule continued seven days a week for several years, always putting the customer first. After building the Dalworth name into a mega-brand, the same attention to detail and customer satisfaction carries over to his work with CSM.

James’ leadership culminated with the Dalworth companies being honored with the 2016 Texas Family Business of the Year award, presented annually by the Baylor University Institute for Family Business. Judges praised the company for its success that spans three generations of family participation, as well as its charitable efforts in the local community and A-plus rating from the Better Business Bureau, the highest industry standard.
