I got into the world of website building when I met my mentor Evan Islam. Evan gave me my first web server space so that I could start creating websites when I was in the 7th grade. I taught myself the basics of HTML and early web technology. In 2005 I attended college in Boston, where I started making personal blogs for friends. In 2008, while still in college, I started working for a very exciting start up called hostgator.com, where I learned much about the web hosting industry (hostgator.com later sold for over 225 million dollars). My first substantial internet marketing opportunity came when I joined a start up real estate company in Houston around 2009.
While working as a marketing coordinator, I also performed freelance consulting. I was able to help small businesses around Houston develop websites using content management systems such as Wordpress and Joomla. Overseeing such projects gave me the insights needed to manage projects effectively and efficiently.
In end of 2013 I was excited to gain the opportunity to work closely with my mentor when I joined the team at Central Station Marketing as a project manager. I'm very blessed to work with such an amazing team where I continue to learn and grow.
In my personal time I like to ride my bicycle with my friends, go to the driving range, and explore the city for cool coffee shops and restaurants. I love travel throughout Asia and fascinated with different cultures and customs.
